On July 27, 2023, in Bhubaneswar, Mr Abhinav Krishna Jasthi, President of the Sri Jagannatha Service Foundation, met with Her Excellency Smt. Draupadi Murmu, President of India, to acknowledge the foundation’s impactful initiatives. The Hon’ble President expressed her appreciation for Mr. Jasthi’s leadership in spearheading two significant programs—extensive training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and large-scale tree plantation efforts.
During the meeting, President Murmu emphasised the pressing need to enhance medical healthcare services for tribal communities and rural populations across India. Her Excellency’s concern reflects her deep commitment to uplifting the healthcare standards in underserved regions, which align with the foundation’s goals.
Also present at the meeting were several prominent figures, including Mrs Madhavi Jasthi; Mr J. Krishna Kishore, IRS, Principal Director of Income Tax (Investigation), Odisha; Dr Vemuri S. Murthy, a global expert in resuscitation; Sri Narayan Sar, East Zone President of All India Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations; and Dr Sathya Swaroop Patnaik, President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Odisha.
